In 2024, the Windflower Garden Club received a beautification grant of $750 to establish a garden in memory of Sara Lueck in front of Jefferson High School’s Sara Lueck Library & Media Center. Mrs. Lueck had served as the Librarian for Jefferson High School since 1978. Her inspiring spirit will be kept alive by this memorial garden’s sundial anchor and the 13 flowering shrubs planted across the front of the library. Club members, Jefferson High School faculty, and friends gathered at JHS on sunny Wednesday, September 11, 2024, for the dedication.
