Set on 1.5 acres within the city limits, the Burkhart-Palmer House offers the convenience of in-town living with space for a more rural lifestyle. Situated in the area known as Red Hill, the story and a half house was constructed in 1939 from local limestone and features beautiful wide board floors, deep 10″ windows sills surrounded by raised panel trim, elaborate crown and chair molding.

The yard has a small pollinator garden, a raised-bed vegetable garden, flower beds and a whimsical potting shed built using the original house windows as well as other repurposed materials. A large stone building on the back of the property was a museum from 1963-1995 and sits in a park-like area with large trees.

Refreshments will be served.
